Tuesday, August 6, Moreland the Magician will delight children of all ages with puppetry, storytelling, magic, and fun! The show starts at 6:30 p.m. Magic lessons after the show!

Snakes in the Library! This Tuesday!

This Tuesday - July 30 at 6:30 pm - Dan the Snake Man is coming to the library. And he's not coming alone - he's bringing a bunch of his reptile buddies.

This is your chance to meet alligators and other reptiles up close. You'll have a chance to ask lots of questions, look reptiles in the eye, and even touch them.

And yes - There Will Be Snakes!

Two events this week @ the Library

We're kicking this week off with a trip to the stars!

On Monday, July 15 ~ Kopernik Planetarium is bringing their Portable Planetarium!  Explore the stars rain or shine. Program begins at 6:30 pm and will be held at the Congregational Church next to the library.

On Wednesday, July 17 ~  The woodwind quintet from The Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes will perform "Peter and the Wolf". Immerse yourself in a magical experience where stories come to life through music!  Program begins at 4 pm.

You can still sign up for Summer Reading! Grab your jetpacks and join the adventure. Read boldly where no man has read before ... or just find a cozy spot under a shady tree.

Sign up for Summer Reading ~ Take home a book!

Summer Reading has started - and enthusiastic summer readers have been registering their names on rockets and astronauts. Each young reader (K-12) gets to take home a book of their choice when they register for Summer Reading.

PLUS - they can take home a "color it yourself" bag perfect for toting smaller books, dinosaurs, and maybe some of the weekly summer prizes.

Summer Lego Club starts this Thursday, July 11 and happens every Thursday evening from 5-6:30 till the end of summer.

If you need more summer reading that you can take to the beach or read by the pool - drop by the "Flea-Fix on Route 96" Book Sale that's happening at the library this coming Saturday, July 13. The pop-up bookstore will be open from 9 am-2 pm. There will be books for kids of all ages as well as books for adults. Please drop by, say hi, and stock up on summer books.
