Halloween just isn't Halloween without a skeleton! Fortunately, you can pick up a "take and make" skeleton craft at the library. You never know when you'll need one to scare off the ghosts and headless horse people.
And while you're picking up your skeleton, check out some of these fun kid's books:
- Inside in: X-rays of Nature's Hidden World, by Jan Paul Schutten
- Bone by Bone: Comparing Animal Skeletons, by Sara Levine
- Dem Bones, by Bob Barner
- Cam Jansen and the Mystery of the Dinosaur Bones, by David Adler
