Get Building @ the Library

There's a bunch of building going on inside the library - at the back table "Maker Space". Right now you'll find a kit of electrical snap-together units that you can use to make circuits, alarms, and other fun projects.

There's also a big box of blocks for very young architectural engineers to experiment with and lots of other new things to explore.

And there's still time to get involved in Summer Reading. So drop by, check out some books, rearrange the magnetic letters, and do stuff at the Maker Space.

No time to be bored @ the library.

Summer Reading Starts Monday July 10!

 

It's Summer Reading time at the Candor Library! This year's theme is "Build a Better World".

Candor Free Library's Summer Reading program begins Monday, July 10 and goes six weeks. Readers of all ages, from just-beginning-to-read to high school senior are eligible to participate. All you need is a library card to get started, and a book bag to carry home all those literary treasures.

Each week there will be an activity at the circulation desk and all participants win a prize at the end – an ice cream cone!
