Kids Share Summer Art and Stories

When you come into the library, spend a few moments at the bulletin board in the hallway. Some of the summer readers put pen to paper to write a story, review a book, or draw their own illustrations. All part of the Tails and Tales summer reading program.

Some participants of the Postcards from Nature workshop have shared their artwork as well. Their postcard art is exhibited in a mini-gallery on the bulletin board by the computers. There are also postcards available for patrons to take home and use in their correspondence - or as bookmarks.

And if you've missed some of the weekly activities, then check out the baskets on the glass display case. There are still lots of take-and-make projects waiting for their forever-home: butterflies, Dala horses, rainsticks, and more. And the sidewalk chalk is always out to be used by artists of any age.
