Summer Reading Programs @ the Library

Summer Reading is here! The program is open to readers of all ages – from “just beginning” through high school. Read books, take home weekly prizes, and enter the end-of-summer drawing for a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. Readers 12 years and older can choose to enter a drawing for one of four $10 Dollar General gift cards; check library for how to enter.

Adopt an animal! This summer, not only do readers get to take home a free book, but they can adopt a stuffed animal to be their reading buddy.

Summer Story Hour
will happen on Tuesdays at 10:15 am, beginning July 20 with Deb Collier. Children of all ages, from birth on up, are invited.

Tanglewood Nature Center
will be here on Friday, July 9, at 2 pm with Hank the red-tailed hawk and three other animals for you to meet.

Moreland the Magician does his awesome magic show on Saturday, July 24, at 10:30 am.

Postcards from Nature is a workshop for kids 8 through teen on Sunday, August 1, from 1-3pm. It's a space to connect writing, art, nature, and imagination. Space is limited so make sure you sign up in advance.

The Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes will put on a performance. Date to be determined, so look for info at the library and on Facebook.
