Arts @ the Library All Month Long!

It doesn't matter whether you write, paint, draw, or glue things into designs - there's an arts workshop for you at the library this month!

The CaFeWriMo writers had so much fun that they're hosting one last Write In on Wednesday evening, March 6 from 6 to 8 pm. Bring your writing-in-progress and your own cuppa whatever; chocolate provided. For more information, contact Carol Henry at 607-659-7661 or carolhenry@frontiernet.net

AND - if you want to get involved in the Write Now group, it meets that morning at 10 am at the library. All writers invited to join in - but in case of wacky weather, call Carol ahead.

On Saturday, March 16 there will be a Paint with Sandy workshop for kids aged 8 to 80. Class begins at 1:30 and materials are provided. This month's theme is unicorns! It's Free, but space is limited so call library to register.

If you like to glue shiny things into designs, come on down for a Mosaic Workshop on Sunday, March 17 with Johanna. Class is open to artists young and old, from 9 to 90 (but kids under 12 will need a parent or adult with them). Workshop runs from 1-3 pm and is FREE. But space is limited so call 659-7375 to register. Funding thanks to FLLS Outreach mini-grant.

Zen Tangle by Fran
The following Sunday, March 24 it's Zentangles with Fran. Zentangles are sort of like doodles, and the drawing is very meditative. Workshop begins at 2 pm.and is Free; call library to register.

The Month ends with an opportunity for adults to play with paint. On Sunday, March 31 it's Adult Landscape Painting with Sandy. This is an Adults Only class and it begins at 1:30 pm. Sandy will focus on landscape painting using different kinds of paints. There is a class FEE of $10 (covers canvases) and donations are appreciated to help cover cost of paints. Call library to register.
