Cabin Fever Writing Month Kicks off Jan. 30

Winter is the perfect time for writing – but even writers get cabin fever. So Candor Free Library is opening its doors to scribblers and scribes of all genres on Wednesdays in February for “Cabin Fever Writing Month”. Call it CaFeWriMo for short. The idea is to join other writers while working on your novel, short story, poems, or children’s books. Bring your coffee, your laptop, your pencils and spiral-bound notebooks. Chocolate will be provided.

CaFeWriMo kicks off on Wednesday, January 30 at 2 p.m. with local authors and some of the Write Now writers. Of course, writers are welcome to hang out and write at the library any time it’s open. But during February, the back table will be reserved for CaFeWriMo writers at these times:
Wed. Feb 6  from 6-8 p.m.
Wed. Feb 13 from noon-2 p.m.
Wed. Feb 20 from 6-8 p.m.
Wed. Feb 27 from noon-2 p.m.

If the weather is bad, we won’t meet. For more information, contact Carol Henry at 607-659-7661 or carolhenry@frontiernet.net.
