Libraries Rock! Summer Reading and Programs

Summer reading starts Monday July 9 and continues for six weeks through August 18. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock” so it’s all up to you whether you wear tie-dyed Ts and bellbottoms, or grab a rock hammer and field guide. Either way, head on down to the library to sign up for summer reading because books are cool and there are tons of prizes!

Readers of all ages – from “just beginning” through high school – are encouraged to explore new books and relax with favorite stories. Weekly prizes include geodes and crystal-growing kits. Fill out tickets to enter the end-of-summer drawing for a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble.

The library is also hosting a series of family-friendly events.
