On Thursday, April 12, Candor Free Library is hosting a
Patron Appreciation Day.
Stop by for cookies and refreshments!
Get fines waived for overdue items belonging to any Tioga
County library that are returned on that day. And check out the new books added to the collection.
This revelry is part of National Library Week, an annual
celebration of the life-changing work of libraries, librarians and library
workers. Libraries are more than places to borrow books or study—they’re also
creative and engaging community centers where people can collaborate using new
technologies and develop their skills and passions. Our library provides e-books,
language learning tools, databases, and more.
On Thursday, the
library will be open from 10 am-12 noon, 2-5 pm, and 6-8 pm.
